Dragons. Attempted Murder. Mystery. Found family… and friends to lovers.
This YA Fantasy title is a tale of duty, love, and the precarious dance between power and loyalty.*
* and maybe a dragon pun or two.
(This novel is chronologically set after the events in Glass Girl, and follows many of the same characters, but can also be read individually).
Driven by duty and love for his brother, Addy strives to help Jaffen bond with the reluctant dragon. But the brothers’ trust strains under suspicions of treachery. Emlin, a dragon-inspired crafter, adds another complex layer to Addy’s already turbulent world.
As the island grapples with the resurgence of dragon power, Emlin and Addy are caught between familial loyalties and their growing feelings for one another. Tensions rise as Jaffen’s failure to bond with the dragon threatens to plunge Lyz into chaos.
Dragoncraft is a tale of duty, love, and the precarious dance between power and loyalty.
In a realm where dragons soar and destinies entwine, can Addy and Emlin find their way to the future they both desire?

For about a dozen years, Dorothy A. Winsor taught technical writing at Iowa State University and served as the editor of the Journal of Business and Technical Communication, but then she decided writing middle-grade and young adult fantasy was more fun.
She lives near Chicago with her husband, who engineers tractors, and has one son, the person who first introduced her to the pleasure of reading fantasy.
