Please note that due to the current ongoing events surrounding the Coronavirus (Covid-19), delivery times may be extended for reasons outside of our direct control. While we make every effort to ensure the books reach our readers in a timely manner by processing orders within 48 hours of receiving them, titles may take up to two weeks to reach you. In such cases, we’re offering a free eBook version of the book as a token of our appreciation for your patience.

Paperback Delivery Information
How much is delivery?
Delivery charges depend on where you are. We’ve done our best to keep the delivery charges as simple as possible.
- Australia & New Zealand: £4
- UK & Rest of the World: £3
Additional items are charged at £1 per item. For example, 2 paperbacks shipped to the UK would be £3 (initial shipping fee) + £1 (charge for second book) = £4 total for shipping the 2 books.
Please note that these prices are subject to change based on inflated costs in different areas. Any such changes will be immediately reflected on this page, so that you can be assured that all information here is fully up to date and correct.
Where do you deliver to?
All our books can be delivered Worldwide.
Can I choose different delivery options?
We’ve kept our delivery options as simple as possible. For this reason, we charge a ‘flat rate’ standard option only at this time.
Can I change my delivery address after I've ordered?
Here at Inspired Quill we do our best to process orders quickly so that you receive your book in the speediest possible time. It’s therefore important that you always double-check your details before submitting your order.
However, we do appreciate that sometimes gremlins get into the woodwork. In these instances, please get in touch with us as soon as possible with the current address listed and the new address you’d like to swap to. If the order hasn’t yet been shipped, we will do our very best to get the details changed.
Can I get the book delivered to a separate address?
If you’re purchasing the book as a gift, you simply need to ensure that the delivery address on the order submission form is where you’d like the book to end up. This does not need to be the same address as shown in the billing information section.
When will my order arrive?
Dispatch times may vary slightly due to our use of eco-friendlier PoD technology. However, since we process orders on the day they arrive in order to expediate the process, books tend to be with their new owners within 3-12 working days.
In the case of late or lost orders, please contact us as if you haven’t received your book after 12 working days and we will do our best to track it, and will offer you an eBook copy free of charge as a thank you for your patience. If your book still hasn’t arrived within 20 working days, we will offer a refund or re-send the book. (those taking more than 20 working days).
Can I choose when my book will be delivered?
Unfortunately not. Since we use Print on Demand technology and don’t (at the moment) keep stock ready to immediately post, we rely on our printing partner’s timetables, which we reflect above as closely as possible.
Will my package have a tracking number?
The majority of orders will not be trackable once they have been dispatched. However, in cases where an order has taken more than two weeks to arrive, we welcome our readers to get in touch with us and we will personally chase where possible.
If I order multiple books, will I get them separately?
As long as you order them at the same time (e.g. within the same basket and payment), the full order will be shipped together. The only time books may arrive in separate packages is if you were to order more than twenty larger titles, which then may not fit in one box.
If you’re a bookseller, library, book group or just want to buy a lot at once, we may be able to help with shipping costs and/or bulk-purchase discounts. Please get in touch for more information before ordering.
Can I cancel / return my order?
You may cancel your order up to 24 hours after payment by getting in touch with us via our contact form. In the case of faulty or incorrect orders, we will offer a full refund (or new book) upon receipt of a photograph clearing showing the book’s faults. To do this, please get in touch with us in the first instance via our online contact form, and we will respond within one working day.
We will refund you via Paypal’s Merchant Service.
How do I pay?
Currently we only accept payment via Paypal. If you don’t have an account, you can still pay via your credit or debit cards on the main screen. This payment will be sent through the Paypal platform to us, with only the usual cost of service (which means we retain high percentage of the payment rather than having to factor in larger transaction fees).
Please note that we don’t offer a Cash-on-Delivery option at this time.
What currencies do you accept?
Thanks to the power of Paypal, we’re able to receive payment in all types of currencies through the online platform.
Are there any additional costs?
There are no hidden charges when you make a purchase through Inspired Quill. List prices are final and all-inclusive. The price you see on the product page is exactly what you would pay.
Delivery charges are not hidden charges and are charged in the amounts stated above.
Do you offer Gift Tokens?
At the moment we can’t offer gift vouchers. We hope to have these in place in the future, and will send an email to our bookish newsletter followers as soon as possible.
How do Discount Codes work?
Any discount codes can only be used and applied to your order during checkout. Simply enter your code in the relevant box on the checkout page. Many of our discount codes are one-use only and may also have an expiry date. If your code doesn’t work and you believe it should, please send us an email with the relevant information and we will investigate it for you.
How will my eBook be sent?
Upon purchase, you will receive an email containing a link to your eBook file. You can download this onto your desktop (or phone), and then transfer across to your eBook-reading hardware of choice.
I need help transferring the file to my eReader
No problem! Just get in touch with us via the contact page here on the IQ website and we’ll be more than happy to send a complete walk-through to you.
I read in two places, do I have to buy 2 copies?
No. It’s completely fine to use the one file on two platforms, as long as they’re solely for personal use.
Can I share this eBook with my friend?
Please don’t. In circumstances where you’ve read and loved the eBook, write a review and let us know when you’ve posted it and we’ll give you a coupon for a free title that you can use yourself or pass on to a friend or family member. That way, we all win!

This is a sure-fire way of making small publishers go out of business through lost revenue. Don’t ever do this.
I changed my mind. Can I get a refund?
We don’t allow refunds for eBooks, so please make sure you definitely want to purchase before hitting the ‘buy’ button.
I added my wrong email address!
We all make typos – don’t panic! Simply send Inspired Quill an email to explain the situation, and we’ll get a new copy sent out to you directly.
Information about Pre-Ordering
What is a Pre-Order?
A pre-order is a title which hasn’t yet been officially released into the world. This means there’s no way of getting a copy unless you purchase direct through the Inspired Quill website at an ‘early bird’ 10% discount.
When will I receive my pre-order?
When you purchase a title on Pre-Order, we will treat it like any other. This means that we will get it printed and shipped to you straight away. This means that if you ordered it at least a week before, you’ll likely have it in-hand before the official release date. It’s our way of saying thank you for supporting Inspired Quill and purchasing direct from our website.
Do I have to pay up-front for a pre-order?
Yes, as we treat it as a regular order and process it right away.
How is a pre-order different from a regular purchase?
Apart from the fact you’re getting a book potentially before anyone else (and at a 10% discount), all other Paperback FAQs as answered above are the same.

At Inspired Quill, we do our very best to ensure that all of our product information (including price, page count, reviews etc) are all up to date and correct. We will always honour the purchase price, as long as the benefit to our readers has come from human error rather than an exploited loophole. (e.g. If we have accidentally priced a book at 99p instead of £9.99, rather than someone hacking into our website and ordering 50 of the same book to be shipped immediately).
If something looks squiffy to you and you’d like us to check core information against something listed on the website, please contact us and we’ll take a look as soon as possible.
Security & Privacy Policies
We do everything in our power to ensure your personal data is absolutely safe so that you can shop with confidence. Any personal data submitted with your order is held securely and only shared with trusted partners only when absolutely necessary to processing your order. (E.g. Paypal, PoD Service). We also use an up-to-date SSL certificate, which is necessary for eCommerce transactions. You should feel free to read a full breakdown of our security and privacy policies.
Important Note: No-one at Inspired Quill will ever ask you for any payment information, including credit card numbers or bank details. The only time we may contact you regarding your order is if we have a query about a shipping address (which we’ve never yet had to do). If you are ever contacted or receive unsolicited emails from someone saying they’re from Inspired Quill, please get in touch directly to verify.
