I loved the journey that Sarene goes on, as she becomes a stronger character and I can’t wait to see how she further develops once her ability is revealed to the reader. Needless to say I am anxiously anticipating the next book in the series and expect great things from this author!
I wasn’t really sure what to expect when I began this book, but it was way better than anything I’d imagined. It’s gripping, original and beautifully written, with amazing characters in a brilliantly imagined world.The main character, Sarene, is such a well crafted character. She’s unique, free-spirited and a real joy to experience the book with.
Whenever I pick up a fantasy book, I worry it’s going to be the same old rags to riches character tale again. Not so here! The characters are engaging and fun to follow, and have an interesting modern style in a classic fantasy world. I’m looking forward to the continuation of the story. Well worth a read!
