“Two years is a long time. To a human. But two Aeons is longer.”
Leap of Faith is the second novel by Matthew Munson, following the adventures of characters we first met in Fall From Grace. Humans, Angels and Spirits struggle for power and freedom in this modern fantasy set on the English Kent coast.
War is once again on the horizon of the two worlds.
The lives of Paul and Joseph have changed over the past two years; Paul is on Earth, living a new life with his girlfriend, while Joseph is in heaven, living as an angel and still mourning the loss of his sister, Lauren.
But barriers between the realms are breaking down, and humans, angels and spirits have set their sights on a catastrophic course of events that will result in the destruction of everything around them.
That is, unless Paul and Joseph – with some divine intervention – can stop a war between an angelic army and countless spirits.

Matthew lives in Thanet on the north Kent coast, a stone’s throw from the sea. He’s an epic fan of science fiction and fantasy; he loves everything from Terry Pratchett and Joe Abercrombie through to Arthur C Clarke and China Mieville – and a lot in between. Fall From Grace and Leap of Faith, are a duology, focused on a trio of friends living in Thanet, and explores themes of friendship, life, death, angels, war, and humanity.
When not writing, Matthew is a disability and sexuality advocate. He focuses specifically on “invisible” disabilities such as dyspraxia through T2D, the charity he co-founded, and on the asexuality spectrum.
